1. How to place an Order
- Hover over the little user icon at the top of our page and select Register.
- Enter your email address and a password.
- Next click on the Register option.
- On the next page, we'll ask you some optional personal information and you can click save.
- You will then be able to select what sort of subscriptions you'd like to sign up to and select save. Once completed, you are good to go.
2. How to Search
You know what you’re looking for but you can’t seem to find it? Before you know it, you’ll be “adding to cart”! Just type some descriptive words about the product you're looking for, and the search results will display all products that match your query. The more the words or the more specific the words, the more specific the results.
The words that you enter can be in any order, and can be taken from any part of the product. For example, to find that knee length, little black dress you’re dying to have, just search for “black dress knee length”.
The search engine does not do word stemming. This means that for example, 'run' is different to 'runs', which is different to 'running'. If the product you're looking for could contain any of a number of variations or alternate spellings of a word, then try individual searches for each variation.
The search engine always searches for products within the selected product tab, which is displayed in the tab list below the search text. You can change the category that will be searched by selecting a different one, or by selecting a sub-category within the browse tree on the left hand side of the page.
If you can't find what you're looking for, always try searching in a higher level category, as it's possible that it might not be catalogued, or it might be catalogued differently to what you're expecting.

Searching Tips:
- Don’t go looking all over. Make sure you are within the category that you’re searching for. Therefore, rather click on the correct product type tab at the top before searching.
- Don’t write an essay, keep it short and sweet but remember the important keywords. Remember that our search engine will only give you results for all the words you type in.
- Try taking out any numbers you've typed in (for example '2' or 'two')
- To remove a keyword from your search results, insert the word into the search engine with a minus attached to the left of the word (without a space), for example: -keyword.
- Spelling is key! There’s no auto-correct here.
- If the word you are entering could be one word or two separate words, try both variations.
- Try changing words such as 'Knee length' to 'Kneelength' if you're not sure which version is correct.

How to Browse
All products on StyleMode.co.za are grouped into hierarchical categories. It is possible for one product to belong to several categories. The highest level of categories corresponds with the tabs at the top of the page.
If you hover your mouse over a high level category, a drop down tab menu containing the relevant sub-categories will appear below the high level category. Clicking on a category in this list will result in the sub-categories within that category being displayed in a navigation tree on the left hand side of the page. By selecting any of the categories in this list, products from the selected category will be displayed on the main part of the page. Products are ordered by popularity with the most popular products being displayed first. By using the See more buttons on the right side of the page, and page numbers and <prev and next> buttons at the bottom of the page, it's possible to page through the products in the category.
Some categories in the navigation tree have more detailed sub-categories. If you click on one that has sub-categories, the sub-categories will be listed (indented) below the parent category and the list of products displayed on the page will relate to the category that is selected.
3. "Ooh I like that", Add to Cart
Once you’ve found the fashion item you want to buy, click on the title to open the item’s detail page. The detail page includes information on the availability of the product, sizing and details of the item.
If the item is available, click on the Add to cart button. If you're wanting to order more than one, (which we all know you are dying to do), click this button again. As you add items to your cart you will see the item count, in your cart at the top of the screen, increase.
To remove items from your cart or change the number of items that you've selected, click on the Edit button on your cart. On the next page, you'll be able to change the number selected or click on the Delete button next to the item to remove it from your cart. You can then click on the Proceed to checkout button to checkout your cart.
All prices displayed on StyleMode.co.za include VAT.
4. Checkout
- Once you're happy with the items in your cart and you're ready to place your order, click on the Checkout button on the right hand side of the screen.
- If you've recently signed in or registered you will go directly to the next web page, if not you'll now need to sign in or register.
- To sign in, enter your email address and password and then click on the Sign in button.
- If you haven't registered with us then click on the Create account button and, on the next page, fill in and submit the registration form.
5. Select Address
At this stage of the checkout process, you'll be able to select the delivery address (and billing address if different from the delivery one), select the delivery method that you'd like to use and see what the delivery cost (if any) will be. We will also let you know the latest date on which you can expect delivery.
If required, you'll be able to add a new delivery address to your list. To do this, click on the New Delivery Address button and complete the address information that is displayed in pop up form.
Please note that as you change your selected delivery method, the delivery cost could change and, if it does, the new total will be displayed in My cart on the right hand side of the screen.
Once you are happy with the delivery address and delivery method that you've selected, please click on the Proceed to payment button.
6. Proceed to Payment
On the next page we will give you your order number and the payment options:
- Pay by credit card
- EFT or bank deposit
- Voucher code or Gift Voucher
- Ozow (i-Pay)
If you want to pay with cash at our offices, please click on the option to pay by direct deposit/EFT. Bring your order number, or registered email address, with you to our offices and we shall process the payment for you.
If you don't pay for your order, it will automatically expire after two business days if no payment is received. Please contact us on info@stylemode.co.za to request an extension on this payment window period.
If you have a credit on your StyleMode account, it will be automatically allocated to your order after you click on the Place order button.
